Data Deletion
SynapSprint — a 77beats product
Effective May 29, 2026Overview
SynapSprint is a local-first app with no account or login. Your activity, progress, achievements, and preferences are stored on your device, so you are in direct control of them. This page explains exactly how to delete your data — both on your device and any limited data held by our service providers.
Where Your Data Lives
| Data | Where it is stored |
|---|---|
| Activity, progress, achievements & preferences | On your device only |
| Entitlement / ad-related state | On your device (encrypted) |
| Crash & error reports (if enabled) | Firebase Crashlytics (Google) |
| Subscription / purchase records | RevenueCat & Google Play |
| Functional / anti-abuse identifiers, advertising identifier | Google (Firebase / AdMob) |
How to Delete Your Data
Option 1 — Delete in the App (recommended)
Open the App and go to Settings → Privacy. From there you can:
- Delete all your data — removes your activity, progress, achievements, and history.
- Reset the App — returns the App to a fresh state.
- Export your data first, if you'd like a copy before deleting.
Option 2 — Uninstall the App
Uninstalling SynapSprint permanently removes all on-device data, including your local database, preferences, and encrypted entitlement/ad state. Because we do not store your activity data on our servers, uninstalling deletes that data entirely.
Option 3 — Request deletion of data held by our providers
To request deletion of the limited data held by our service providers — such as crash reports (Crashlytics), your RevenueCat entitlement record, or pseudonymous Google service identifiers — email us:
- Email: [email protected]
- Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
We will action your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally within 30 days). We may ask you for limited information to verify and locate the relevant records before acting.
Stop Future Collection
You can stop ongoing collection without deleting the App:
- Crash reporting: turn it off in Settings → Privacy (in the EEA/UK it is off until you opt in).
- Advertising: use the in-app ad-privacy / consent options in Settings → Privacy where available, reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings, or subscribe (subscribers see no ads).
What We Cannot Delete
Some records are controlled by third parties and governed by their own policies and legal-retention requirements:
- Google Play purchase history is managed by Google and tied to your Google account; it is governed by Google's policies, not by us. Manage it in your Google Play account.
- Providers (Google, RevenueCat) may retain certain records for a limited period as required for security, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, or legal compliance. Such records are deleted or de-identified at the end of those periods.
